Lizard Island presents elegant, yet understated Great Barrier Reef accommodation in a variety of rooms, suites and villas. All of our resort rooms and suites offer serene luxury and a private location in which to enjoy your stay. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in each of the resort’s guest rooms and at dedicated areas across the resort.
The House- Stay in secluded laidback luxury. Experience a stay on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef from this stand-alone elegant three storey, three-bedroom property with adjacent Guest Cottage as a fourth bedroom, offering direct beach access via sandy paths and complete seclusion within the rocky bush terrain.
The Villa- The cliff top location provides you with the ultimate privacy and stunning ocean vistas whilst the Villa’s interior delivers on space and understated elegance - perfect for couples and families.
The Pavilion - The Pavilion sits alone on the point of Sunset Ridge with commanding panoramic ocean views. Glass sliding doors opening onto a majestic wrap around deck and infinity plunge pool to create a sense of being “as one” with the outdoors.
Beachfront Suites - Set along the natural arc of Anchor Bay, the Beachfront Suites are designed to offer uninterrupted beach access.
Oceanview Plunge Pool Villas - The stunning location provides access to a collection of secluded beaches and the luxury of your own private plunge pool.

Gardenview Suites - The lush and tropical landscape hugs these rooms and offers natural, meandering pathways to guide you directly onto Anchor Bay Beach and the Beach Club. With a separate bedroom and living room, this suite is spacious and conveniently close to the Lodge where Saltwater Restaurant and Driftwood bar are located; a short distance further is the pool and Essentia Day Spa.

Degustation Beachside Dining -- Two private gazebos are perfectly positioned on the shore of Anchor Bay, commanding spectacular views of the nightly sunsets. Here in this private setting, you will enjoy a 7-course degustation dinner with perfectly matched wines. Our Executive Chef will meet with you personally to design a menu to suit your occasion and tastes.
Private Beach Excursions -- Select your own refreshments pack the night before your planned excursion and the following day, take a private dinghy and motor to a beach of your choice - or have one of our Marine team drop you off and return later to collect you.
Marlin Bar -- We invite you to stroll down the boardwalk and enjoy a casual evening at The Marlin Bar. With wonderful cocktails, beverages, light casual meals and friendly service on offer, join us to take in a magnificent sunset or simply unwind in this unique setting.
